Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (1832 - 1898), better known as Lewis Carroll, was an English writer and mathematician. He worked as a lecturer and teacher at the Christ Church college in Oxford. His most famous literary works include "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and the sequel "Through the Looking-Glass", which express his love for logic riddles and word play. As a mathematician, Dodgson worked primarily in the fields of geometry, linear and matrix algebra, mathematical logic, and recreational mathematics, producing nearly a dozen books under his real name.
